

While many puzzle games have eschewed the sheer 'bang your head against the wall' level of difficulty that Myst made popular, there are still some that enjoy this catharsis. Myst is a classic example of a game that threw players into the deep end right from the get-go. From indie titles to AAA experiences, and everything in between, the number of games on the table is staggering.

In the game, the player travels via a special book to a mysterious island called Myst. It was developed by Cyan, Inc., published by Broderbund, and initially released in 1993 for the Macintosh. The following games should help scratch that same itch. Myst is a graphic adventure designed by the Miller brothers, Robyn and Rand. What happens once you push your brain to finally finish this new version of Myst? Well, you will probably want to dive into a whole bunch of similar puzzle adventure experiences. Ive never played the original it was based off of before, but I thoroughly enjoyed this remastered version Myst is a challenging puzzle game. It's simply amazing to see a beloved game make a beautiful return to form. Interestingly, this new version of Myst can also be played in VR.
